Synthetic Media & Glass Fiber Media Features and Benefits
Met-Air MAT Filter
The Met – MAT Theres manufactured from graded density, non-wows animatic/glass fil filter fleece. This media haveable with different levels of compression on the effer side, ranging from G3-F5 according to DIN EN 29/ASHRAE) The PROMat filter series finds varied application and is used either horizontally, as in Celling filters, Paint arrestance in Auto body shops or vertically in Roll-O-Matic filters which are used extensively as primary filters in Malls, Airports, Metro Railways, Paint shops, Textiles etc. In the case of ceiling filters for Paint shop requirements, the media is impregnated with a tackifier which binds the dust, thus preventing it from migrating into the paint booth. In addition to this, “scrim backing” on the clean air side is provided to withstand the inherent vibrations in a Paint spray booth, maintain dimensional stability and eliminate the “linting” from the media itself.

Met- Pad Filter
Met- PAD Filter
The MET pad glass fibre filter series is manufactured from Met-PAD Filter graded density, glass fibre filter fleece. It has higher specific gravity than synthetic fibre but its smaller diameter more than compensates, since it ensures greater internal area.
PROpad glass fibre will suit high temperature application up to 300°C. Media is available with different levels of compression on the clean air side, ranging from G2-G4 (according to DIN EN 779/ASHRAE).
PROPad filters are used in various applications such as Oven filters with paint (mist) Arrestor filters, Pre filters in AHU’s, in Drying cabins, as Coalescer. These filters come with or without frames. For paint arrestor/oil mist applications we can supply a combination of glass fibre and synthetic media possessing high dust holding capacity.
You could choose from the following options:
Media: Glass fibre to suit applications such as Paint Arrestor, Oven Filters, Pre-filter in AHU’s, Drying cabins as Coalescer.
Frame: Galvanised iron, aluminium, plastic and carton.
Construction: Box/flange type.
Met – Pad
Met- PAD
The MET pad FPCP filter series is designed as a long-lasting, washable, and re-usable filter media. Due to its very high void-volume of 97% and innumerable connecting struts, it has an immense surface area of 2300 sq. ft. in every cubic foot (cft), weighing less than 1.7 lbs/cft. This allows for extremely low pressure drops and very high dust holding capacities. FPCP media is available with various porosities (PPI), making it suitable for filter class G2 oven up to FB.
The only care that needs to be taken is that the media should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
PROPad filters are used in various applications such as pre-filters in AHUs across industries, in drying cabins, and as coalescers. These filters come with or without frames.
You could choose from the following options:
Media: FPCP to suit application
Frame: Galvanised iron, aluminium, plastic, and carton
Construction: Box/flange type
Met – Pad Synthetic
Met- PAD Synthetic
The Met pad synthetic filter series is manufactured from graded density, non-woven synthetic filter fleece. This media is available with different levels of compression on the clean air side and is available in a wide range of filters ranging from G2 classes, ran FS (according to DIN EN 779/ASHRAE). The media is of graded density with one or more fibre layers. The final layer on the air leaving side consists of 3–4-micron fibres, that increase media efficiency.
PROPad filters are used in various applications such as Pre-filters in AHU’s, in Drying cabins, as Coalescer and other applications. These filters come with or without cassette boxes.
You could choose from the following options:
Media: Synthetic (G2-F5)
Frame: Galvanised iron, aluminium, plastic, and carton
Construction: Box/flange type

Dust holding capacity is measured according to DIN EN 779/ASHRAE until the rated final pressure drop is achieved. In case higher final pressures at economical operations are feasible, dust holding capacity increases correspondingly.
Celling Media
These filters are placed on ceiling of the paint booth through which the air enters the painting area. They are available in either roll or cut to size form. This progressive density media is impregnated with a special tackifier to enhance the retention of captured particles and also has a scrim backing to completely eliminate the chances of particles greater than 10 micrometres entering the painting area of the booth. The media conforms to F5 (M5) Grade as per EN 779 standard technical specifications of the media are as below:
